Cementation Simplification: Taking the Mystery Out of Doing Things Correctly

David Hornbrook, DDS

January 2018 Course - Expires Sunday, January 31st, 2021

Web Only

Abstract

Many times, luting a restoration, rather than adhesive bonding is preferred.  As long the restorative material will support a luted protocol, and the preparation presents with adequate retention, this type of cementation is acceptable.  This is especially true with the stronger, higher flexural strength ceramics and metal reinforced restorations. Join Dr. Hornbrook as he discusses the types of materials available and his recommended cementation protocols for the different restorations.
